An internet DJ was stabbed to death in front of his mother at her apartment in Pimlico, an inquest heard.

Luke Jackson, 33, died from a stab wound to the heart from an eight-inch kitchen knife after inviting two men to the flat to discuss a drug deal.

Mr Jackson, who co-hosted a weekly online music radio show, was able to “manhandle” the attackers out of the flat before collapsing.

Mr Jackson, who lived in Sydenham, was known as MC Bluetooth. His friends said he occasionally sold cannabis and MDMA on a small scale and had money problems leading up to his death. Friend William Prentice said he occasionally loaned Mr Jackson money.

He said: “Luke told me he had MDMA he planned to sell which he got from a white male from Lewisham. He bought it for £300 and wanted to make £100 profit and had buyers lined up.

“From friends I heard on the Friday, the day before his death, he contacted others and asked them to watch his back when he met the Lewisham guy.”

Nobody has been charged with his murder and the knife used has never been found. Coroner Dr Fiona Wilcox recorded a verdict of unlawful killing.
